Important Lifeguard Changes

Hi Team,

Due to a staff shortage, we will only have one guard (assisted by me) for our weekday practices going  forward until Wave Aquatics can fill the gaps with new lifeguards. This means there may be times when I need to be guarding rather than directly coaching during our practices. 

This decision was not made lightly as it will mean Sarah, the Assistant Director/our lovely morning guard, and I will be guarding non-stop for longer periods of time than is typical. However, we understand the importance of consistancy for our members and providing as much pool time for our community as possible. We are doing everything we can to prioritize your experience. 

If any of you or your family/friends are interested in becoming a certified lifeguard please reach out to me or waveswimschool@waveaquatics.org. Wave is offering free certifications for new hires! 

Although this won't affect you directly all too much, we want to be transparent about the ongoing of the pool. If you have any questions or concerns I'm here to respond!
